Before Flight Pro Sim can use your new xml file, you need to edit the file
/FlightProSim/datajoysticks.xml,
adding a line that will include your new file if the “name” you entered
between the name tags matches the name supplied to the driver by your
joystick.

Add the following line to joysticks.xml.
<js-named include=”Input/Joysticks/folder name/name of joystick.xml”/>
You simply need to change the ‘Folder name’ and ‘name of joystick’ to the correct location / file name

You can tell how Flight Pro Sim has interpreted your joystick setup by selecting
Help -> Joystick Information from the Menu.
